2025 Maynard Music Trip to Washington, D.C.
March 31st reminders:
- If you have not turned in your final payment for the trip, please turn it in to Mr. Kozik, Mrs. Fournier, or the MHS Main Office no later than April 4th! You should have received an email from Mr. Truch (trip treasurer) with your outstanding balance.
- Here are the slides and information packet from our meeting is attached, as well as a Q&A document from the meeting.
- This week, students should all be signing up for BandApp (during class) and entering emergency contact info in their phones. Uniform checks are next week – please plan ahead!

In April, 2025, Maynard High School Band and Chorus students will travel to perform on a historic stage in Washington, D.C. They’ll also get to enjoy historic sites, see a show, and participate in a university-led workshop.
Here is all the information students, families, and supporters need to know to prepare and support this trip:
TIMELINE
- November 20: Deadline for commitment, behavioral, scholarship forms and first payment of $250; optional travel insurance payment due within two weeks of your initial payment (see Mr. Kozik’s email for link)
- January 14: 2nd payment of $250
- February 14: 3rd payment of $250
- March 14: remaining balance due
- April 26: Bus departs from MHS
